Safety Mission
At Grand Steel there is an attitude of trust in the plant. Trust in our protocol, people, protection, and self. There are discernible boundaries in place and recognition that our people are infinitely more important than our output. All plant members must wear PPE accordant gear and know that this is a zero tolerance policy, therefore they will be subject to disciplinary action without it. Safety is a core value, we hold it above anything and everything else. Each plant member knows their role and is responsible for maintaining alertness, advocating for themselves, and overall safety. However, we know that employees are 1/2 of keeping a safe environment, that’s why we practice proactive safety management. Simply reacting to issues won’t do. Grand Steel is committed to maintaining open lines of communications and ensuring that we remain a quota of no injuries. We promise to constantly adapt and evolve with changing expectations by reviewing our safety statement weekly and involving employees with it’s changes. We vow to equip our staff with clear safety knowledge, because knowledge is protection. Security and trust are the cornerstone of what we represent and what we are growing to be.
