Grand Steel Products has expanded its capabilities to the Southern U.S. with Grand Steel Processing-TN in Clinton, TN. This facility serves as a toll processing and heated warehouse, featuring 24″ and 60″ slitting lines, de-canning, and freight forwarding services for steel and aluminum products. GSP-TN can handle up to 25-ton coils, received by truck or via a three-car indoor rail siding serviced by NS, supporting inbound and outbound shipments. The facility caters to various industries, with a primary focus on toll processing for the automotive sector.
Meanwhile, the new Chattanooga facility is equipped with two state-of-the-art 72” slitting and packaging lines and a multi-blanker, also specializing in toll processing. Its location offers access to the region’s steel market, with nearby mills providing excellent sourcing for raw materials. This 126,000 sq/ft complex enhances operational flexibility with rail and barge capabilities, receiving up to 40-ton coils via barge and 30-ton coils via rail, making it ideal for serving customers across multiple industries.
